Strange how beauty lives in the simplest things..... Peguem o Bolero de Ravel. Basicamente é um par de frases melódicas repetidas umas trocentas vezes. Mas consegue não ser repetitivo. Contraditório? Nem tanto. Quem tiver a versão completa (mais ou menos uns 16 minutos, não 4 ou 5, como vêm nesses cds de compilação. Hooked on Classics, anyone?), pode seguir a entrada dos "solos".:

Snare drum; flute; clarinet ; bassoon ; Eb clarinet ||| oboe (d'amor); muted trumpet with flute; tenor sax ;soprano sax ||| french horn (with picc) ;
oboes and clarinets ;trombone ; woodwinds (flute, picc, oboes, clarinets) ||| woodwinds & violins ;same + trumpet ; same + trombone, cello, and viola (From here on the orchestration just becomes more varied and instruments raise in the range to continue the crescendo. . .)
